I'm assuming you had some sort of reason for blocking me.

Whatever it is, paranoia, annoyance, I think that it was a little juvenile.

When you post something on DeviantArt, wouldn't you like to get critique from other artists? I thought that was the entire point.

Posting deviations, and then only accepting comments that outwardly praise it is a little childish. Can't you handle criticism?

If I were you, I'd be thankful that at least one person is trying to give you actual, genuine, honest critique, instead of constantly lavishing you with praise. "Oh, you're so amazing, I love this piece! " "This is SO COOL!" "OMG AMAZING!"

I do like your work. I really do.
I took time out of my day to give you an honest critique. I didn't insult your work. I simply told you what I thought worked, and what didn't work for me. In some cases I told you what I would changed if it were my piece.

Of course, as with all critiques, take it with a grain of salt. It's nothing personal. Don't let it get you down.

That's why I was upset when you blocked me.
It says you're a student, right, and by the looks of your username, you're only two years older than I am.

Blocking someone who is genuinely interested in critiquing your work was a rather stupid thing to do.

If you treat all of your critics like this, you may come to regret it.

And I can 100% guarantee you, that if you respond to _all_ of your critics in this way, you will become unpopular, and furthermore, you will not improve your art.

You're only 21. Your work is very nice, but it isn't perfect. You, like myself, have a lot of learning to do. I am not a photographer, but I do work with video and photographs. I might not be the best artist by any means, but I _do_ know how to critique a piece of work.

I was honest with you. And you blocked me.
